Transfer window opens 1 Feb 26
We welcome new players of all abilities to join our club. Additionally, we welcome players looking to transfer from other clubs. We understand that some families may find the transfer process challenging to navigate.

Submitting a transfer request information
Permits
Our footy club only utilises permits under extenuating circumstances. For example, if a player’s current AFL club is unable to field a team for them, we are happy to welcome them on a permit. Outside of these rare situations, we encourage all families to go through the Transfer Process if their desire is to play at the Cronulla Sharks.

Once on the page, simply click the "Get Started" icon at the bottom. Please ensure you are logged into your PlayHQ account before registering your player(s) to maintain the same profile as the 2026 season.
New Registrations
If you have family or friends who are new to the sport and interested in joining our great club for the 2026 season, they can register using the links provided above. They will need to create a PlayHQ profile for their junior Shark in order to complete the registration process.
U9 Girls Play Free at Cronulla JAFC in 2026
As part of our commitment to growing the game, all new and returning Under 9 girls who register to play with Cronulla Sharks JAFC in 2026 will play free of charge.
No previous AFL experience is required. We welcome girls of all abilities to join our inclusive, supportive and fun club environment.
